Our Dream

We envision a day where every Perth County woman and her children seeking safety will be able to receive the residential and community-based safety and supports they need to heal from their trauma and build a future of hope and optimism.

Optimism Place is the only organization providing emergency residence
and wraparound supports for women and their children in Perth County. Last year we could not provide residential services 335 times due to a lack of space. As a community we can no longer be satisfied and we must act now to expand our capacity.
